There's so little in this scene that is subpar right now, and Horror God continue the expectation of excellence with this album.
Favorite track: They Were Behind the Barbed Wire.

Fierce death metal with some black influence. Vocal kinda reminded me of Deicide. Great musicianship going on there, with cool riffs and an amazing sound! Horns up!
Favorite track: They Were Behind the Barbed Wire.

Cursed Seeds is the most correct way to have fun with dissonance whilst maintaining genuine death metal form. Control over instrumental disparity somehow creating a coherent whole indeed sounds abstract. Let Maxim, Sergei, Andrey, Pavel and Lev show you how it's done. Huge thanks to Lavadome for not following the digipak trend.
Favorite track: Age of Madness.

Horror God has arrived with its third album to introduce its brand of creative, dissonant or avantgarde if you will, death metal driven by merciless riffs and heavy hooks.
As much as technical this album is, it's still memorable.
As much as brutal the music is, it bears multiple scale of emotions.
As much as the dissonant and experimental elements are used, it's always done in favor of the overall picture the music creates.
Coherent, powerful extreme music from the guts and soul.
Taking into consideration where the band began with the first album, they have come a long way, generating powerful death/black metal with well-placed technical aspects in some parts of the songs.
The cover and booklet artwork are amazing, and directly reflect the lyrics of the songs.

A band you have never heard of? Why? Following still the same labels which feed you with the same ole stuff? Think about it and think about it again because you stopped to care. Enjoy the pain. Lavadome productions

The album description mentions an “emotional apex.” That’s really the difference between Stare and the band’s previous albums. Ulcerate was always supremely technically proficient. I just didn’t care all that much. Their growth has come from making music you will feel. Metallurgical Fire
